Can anyone offer a loving home to Billy who is around 14 years of age and is a Patterdale. We are waiting for him to have a vet appointment next week due to his age, but he appears to be healthy apart from a little bit of arthritis. As usual with our Golden Oldies, we will fund his future vet needs. Please call 075832 69614 or email ycdogrescue@btinternet.com if you can give him a loving home for his retirement.
UPDATE
14 year old Billy spent most of his time locked in a crate but that is behind him now. He is safe, warm and loved in our amazing foster mum's home and will never see the inside of a crate again. His claws were so long they had grown into the pads on his feet causing him so much pain. We have had him to the vet to sort these out and he is back again this week to take the bandage off hopefully. Billy desperately needs a trim but, as he hasn't been vaccinated yet, we can't take him to a groomer. Is there anyone in Scarborough who would be kind enough to do this please? You
can contact us on 075832 69614 or on messenger.
UPDATE
Just an update on Billy from his foster mum. He was at the vet again yesterday for the dressings to be changed and is now beginning to trust people and not be so frightened. She says he really does like to meet other dogs and people on his walks and has just started to play with his toys. He is very much coming out of his shell and starting to be happy. He has also put on some weight as he is very thin. Keep up the good work little man XX
